We arrive at the Finch's place in Gardnerville early in the afternoon, got set up and kicked back to relax and enjoy their view of the desert and the mountains.Happy Birthday to the old guy!
Ron turned 70 this year, so we surprised him with a get-together. there were lots of gag gifts and funny stories (all at Ron's expense of course).
I think this story had something to do with mementos representing Ron's leaving a live starfish for way too long under the seat in Nish's car.
Well. . . they like to think they rule anyway!
There's no such thing as too many parties, so we'd barely recovered from Ron's party and it was time to set up for the Happy Birthday America BBQ. The annual "Happy Birthday America" BBQ and reunion in Gardnerville has been a tradition for more years than we care to admit. It's a great time to catch up with old friends, connect with new ones, and celebrate the holiday. . . not to mention all the great food that shows up!
